Glendale Regional Program is a separate program within our school for elementary-aged students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Students are referred to this program from 25 elementary schools in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. It is the vision of the Glendale Regional Program to have students learn and feel successful in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that respects their individuality, strengths, needs, and family. Students will achieve in an environment that fosters respect for self and others.
The goals of the Glendale Regional program are to help our students:
- Reach academic goals to their individual potential
- Develop a positive self image and a desire to learn
- Develop positive social skills necessary to successfully participate in their home, school, family and community.
Our students participate in the AACPS curriculum, i.e. Open Court Reading Series, Scott Foresman Math Program, and a variety of intervention programs that meet specific student needs. For more information regarding the curriculum, please see ‘Grade Levels’ links.
