About Glendale:Glendale Elementary School is located in the heart of Glen Burnie, Maryland, between the cultural centers of Baltimore and Annapolis, as well as in close proximity to our nation's capital. Our first school opened in 1950. A new Glendale Elementary School building was built and opened in January 2002. Our school is rich in tradition with many students having parents and even grandparents who have attended the old Glendale Elementary School building.
We are a community school with most of our students living within walking distance of the school. The children set goals for the year to help them soar to great heights like our mascot, the EAGLE.

Glendale Elementary School is a safe place where all people feel welcomed, respected and valued. The entire school community enthusiastically works together to help children reach their fullest potential.
