Students are given the opportunity to work on an Apple computer using top-notch graphic design software such as Quark XPress, Adobe PageMaker, Adove InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Power Point. Students will learn how to use these applications to import and modify text, import and edit graphics, page layout design, and to create an assortment of printed publications. Career opportunities exist as graphic artist, desktop publisher, logo or ad designer, and prepress operator.
