An opportunity to learn ingredients recognition, cost conversion, bake shop production, use of equipment, basic decorations, airbrush applications and students may receive National Sanitation Certification. Students also learn industry employability skills. A senior year Cooperative Work Experience Program is available, which can lead to an Apprenticeship program. Career opportunities include cake decorator, baker, caterer, consultant, bakery manager, and pastry chef. |
