Level I Magnet Information
Level I applications are accepted online through https://magnet.aacps.org/webapps/aacps_magnet/Login.aspx.
Please read the Level I Application Instructions (below) prior to applying. The initial application deadline is March 15. Applications will continue to be accepted after March 15; however, priority consideration is given to on time applications.

CAT Career Exploration Course Application
CAT Career Exploration provides students with an opportunity to experience four professional organized skill areas offered at CAT North during the course of one semester. While at CAT North, students are introduced to all twenty-four career areas offered at CAT North and spend extended time exploring four of those areas. This course is open to students entering 9th and 10th grades and is offered either 1st Period on B days or after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:35 - 3:45 pm. Bus transportation is provided. Students earn 0.5 high school elective credit for the course.

Summer Career Camp Application (NEW!)
Imagine a day camp at the Center of Applied Technology North, staffed by teachers who are experts in their field. What a great way for middle school students to explore their future career interests!

Camp starts at 8:00am and concludes at 1:30pm during the week of June 18 - 21, 2012. Each class will be two and one half hours in length with two classes per day.

Students may provide their own transportation or use the Summer Career Camp buses. A Career Camp bus will pick-up students at selected middle schools. Applications which are returned promptly will be given first perference for classes.
