Welcome
to fifth grade at Belvedere Elementary. The teachers in our fifth grade
are Mrs. Paez, Mrs. Gardner, Mrs. Slack, and Mrs. Murray.
The
fifth grade students will be busy this year! We will complete the
Drownproofing program. We are planning to go to Jamestown,
Yorktown and Williamsburg
for an overnight trip in late May.

America to the Revolution and US Geography.
The
assignment book, available through the school is for all students. All
fifth grade students are required to have an assignment book.
Spelling is assigned Monday through Thursday. Additional Language Arts may
be assigned. Math is assigned on a nightly basis except when a class long
test is given. This does mean that students WILL have math homework
on weekends. Science and Social Studies require regular review of notes and
handouts. Projects may be assigned periodically to include weekends.
