Mission

Mission

It is the purpose of the Division of Career & Technology Education to provide Educational experiences and/or career paths that enable students to gain technological literacy, life skills and job skills, and post high school educational opportunities.

Precepts

  • All students will have equal access to all programs
  • Programs will reflect changes in technology, business, industry, and society
  • Course offerings will maintain a balance of theory, interdisciplinary activities, and applied learning
  • Teaching will prepare students for varied roles and responsibilities in life

Philosophy

The motivating principles under which the Division of Career & Technology Education provides career programs are to:
