School Hours and Attendance

School Hours are from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Doors open for students at 9:00 a.m.  If your child arrives late, please stop by the office to sign in so that your child is not marked absent.***For the safety of our children and our building security, please do not visit a classroom without a visitor's/volunteer pass from the office.

Kindergarten Registration

Parents enrolling their child for Kindergarten will need to supply the following information:

Birth Certificate

Immunizations

Two forms of Proof of Residency (ex. phone bill, utility bill, lease, etc.)

Child's Social Security Number

Severna Park Elementary School is nestled in the heart of Severna Park at 6 Riggs Avenue.  The date of occupancy in the first brick school house was 1937. (The original school building was built in 1852.)  The school was renovated in 1992.  The building is approximately 48,662 square feet on 8.7 acres.  Current enrollment is 293.
