| After growing up in Baltimore Maryland,
Julie Little-McVearry received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University
of Maryland in College Park before earning a Master’s Degree at The
Johns Hopkins University. A
career in Educational Administration became possible after earning another
certification at Goucher College in Baltimore.
Mrs.
Little-McVearry has spent her 23 year career in Anne Arundel County Public
Schools. Mrs. Little-McVearry began her career as a Special Education
Teacher in 1985 and continued for 17 ½
years until moving to Brooklyn Park Elementary School to serve as
the Behavior Management Teacher Specialist for six months.
Her Administrative assignments include the Assistant Principal
position at both Rippling Woods and Van Bokkelen Elementary Schools for 2
½ years before coming to her current position as the Principal at North
Glen Elementary.
Mrs. Little-McVearry is very committed to her family and dedicated to
ensuring success for her students and teachers.
