to Receive Nearly $16,500 for School Performance from MSDE
School
Superintendent Dr. Kevin M. Maxwell announced today that 59 Anne Arundel
County elementary and middle schools have been commended by the Maryland
State Department of Education for their success in the 2006 Maryland
School Performance Recognition Program. The program awards schools for
overall achievement and/or subgroup improvement. Twelve Anne Arundel
County schools were recognized for both, including:
Magothy River Middle
Millersville Elementary
Overlook Elementary
Quarterfield Elementary
Severna Park Elementary
West Annapolis Elementary
West Meade Elementary
Windsor Farm Elementary
Annapolis Elementary
Crofton Elementary
Edgewater Elementary
Jones Elementary
Our
teachers, administrators, and support staff continue to work so hard to
ensure that our students are achieving, Dr. Maxwell said. They
certainly deserve this recognition and more. Congratulations to the
