Second Grade is happy to announce that there is now a quick and easy way for parents to know more about what is going on in their children's classrooms.  Ms. Huddleston has set up a Second Grade Class Homepage on the Scholastic website, one of AACPS's approved websites.  Parents and students can visit their Class Homepage to learn about class news and events, check homework, find resources, and much more.  It is exclusively for children in their respective classes and their parents.  It is completely private and requires a special Username and Password in order to access it.  This is a great way for teachers to share information with parents and students. Just click on this link , and see Ms. Huddleston's creation!   It will be updated weekly with new spelling words and homework for the upcoming week.  We congratulate second grade for being the first class at Mayo to take advantage of this wonderful concept.  We hope that soon all grades will have links to their own homepages.  Keep checking back at the appropriate grade level to see if your child's teacher has created a Class Homepage.
