Snowman also by Cierra
I had to drink lots of hot chocolate. In order to move I had to crawl on top of the snow. Otherwise I would have fallen down into the snow, and I wouldn't have been able to move at all for a while.
I missed a whole week of school.
I didn't make a snowman, but I did have fun. I had a snowball fight.
Last week I survived the storm. It took my mom three days to get out of the parking lot. My cousin and my brother and I had to shovel out my mom's car. I did not even stay out for twenty minutes because I got too cold. As soon as my mom got in I asked my mom if I could have some hot chocolate.

When the snow fall came it was a SURPRISE! Before the biggest, most giant, humongous snowfall in all of my eight years, my grandma and grandpa came for a visit. That morning, I heard on the news that I had a whole school week off. A day later, I went out to play in the snow. I climbed on the big pile of snow and threw snowballs at my sister Mary. The weather conditions were very, very, cold!!! After that, I went inside to have some hot chocolate and it was good. Later, after I drank hot chocolate, I played work with my sisters Mary and Caroline. I finished playing with my sisters when it was dinner time. After dinner I went to bed. In the morning I ate a big breakfast and it was good. When I was finished, I got ready to play outside in the snow. When I played in the snow, I made four little tunnels. My mom was shoveling our road with our neighbors for seven hours. When my sister came out to play, we each made a fort and had a big snowball fight. Before I went inside, I climbed on a big pile of snow and I fell in. When I pulled my foot out, my boot got stuck in the snow! So I started digging for it.
I played in the snow and built a tunnel and an igloo. I went sleigh riding down my GIANT hill. I went in and got some hot chocolate and got something to eat. I went back outside and played with my friends Amanda and Dawn.
We made a tunnel up at their house and a igloo.
After we drank hot chocolate and played some games we went back out and measured how much snow we got. Then we played with our friend Elizabeth and made a snow unicorn and a snow bunny.
I was 7 years old when Maryland had its biggest snowstorm in history! I missed a week and 4 days of school. I went outside when the snow was 10 inches deep. I had a snowball fight with my sisters Jasmin and Stephanie. I ran and fell in the deep snow. I made a snowman, but he fell over because my brother Steven ran into him. When I went inside to warm up, I made a trail of snow all the way to the TV! I drank a lot of hot chocolate. I took a shower and then played Dragon Ball Zbodaci on PlayStation 2.
FROM THIRD GRADE...
When it snowed I went outside and had a snowball fight with my uncle. I made an igloo for my dog and me. I did not have any hot chocolate. Then I had to work on shoveling. I went sledding. I did all of that stuff because I had 10 days out of school due to all the snow. The snow came up all the way up to my knees. The snow was 28.6" deep.

I put on three sweat pants and jeans and four shirts and sweaters. I put on a scarf and a hat, gloves and boots with two pairs of socks. I had to tell my mom, "Can I go outside?" I tried to make a snowman, but I got stuck in the snow.

In aught '3 I survived the biggest snow storm in Maryland history. It was on February 15, 2003. It was terrible! The cars were covered with snow where you could not see the cars! My boot got stuck in the snow and my boot almost came off. I drank about 2 cups of hot chocolate. After the 15th I went over to my friend's house and her name was Tiffany.

After a while I went back outside and helped shovel the snow. It was easy for me to shovel the snow, because I have 8 people in my family who live with me. We had a lot of helpers! Our next door neighbors helped us a little. It was really cold outside, so I went back inside. I watched TV and listened to music on my Lil Bow Wow CD.
I was tired and I went to BED!

In aught 3 there was a record snow fall. The depth of the snow was about 28.6 inches. There was barely enough food for seven people, so we all had to preserve the food. Each night I watched the weather channel for cancellations, every school was closed! When it got colder and it stopped snowing, the snow was turning into ice. When I went outside the snow had already stopped. I tried to make an
igloo but my brother kept on
throwing snowballs at me, so
I just had to defend myself.
