Q: When were you born?
A: My birthday is December 5, 1981.

Q: Where were you born?
A: I was born in Bath, New York.

Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I also grew up in Bath, New York.

Q: Did you have a good childhood or a bad childhood?
A: Good!

Q: What was your childhood like?
A: I grew up in a small town.
I used to play in the neighborhood with my friends.
We used to play kickball in the backyard.

Q: Why do you like New York so much?
A: I like New York because the Finger Lake region is absolutely beautiful.
It is quiet and peaceful there.

Q: Did you ever star in a beauty pageant?
A: No, I did not.

Q: Did you ever have braces?
A: I did in the 9th grade.

Q: Where did you go to school?
A: I went to State University of New York at Geneseo.

Q: Who is in your family?
A: My mom Terri, my dad John,



my younger brother Jeff, and me!



Q: Do you think your brother is funny?
A: My brother can be hilarious at times.

Q: Do you think your brother is cool?
A: I wouldn't trade him for the world!

Q: What is your favorite dog?
A: I had a beagle/dalmation mix and she was very cute.

Q: What was your pet's name?
A: My pet's name was Missy.



Q: What is your best friend's name?
A: My best friend's name is Candice.
We've been friends since we were babies.

Q: What nationality are you?
A: I am mostly Polish.

Q: Can you speak any Polish?
A: No.

Q: Can you dance the polka?
A: No, but I did take ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes.

Q: Can you make pierogies?
A: No, but I like to eat them!

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Anything cooked on a grill!

Q: What is your favorite cake?
A: I love funfetti cake with my mom's homemade frosting.

Q: What is your favorite Italian food?
A: I LOVE lasagna!

Q: What is your favorite restaurant?
A: The Olive Garden - YUM!

Q: What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving?
A: My mom makes delicious pumpkin pie!

Q: What is your favorite ice cream?
A: My favorite ice cream is Moose Tracks.

Q: What is your favorite drink?
A: I enjoy a cold can of Coca-Cola or a vanilla milkshake.

Q: Do you eat Mexican food? What are your favorites?
A: I don't eat much Mexican food, but I do like fajitas from Chevy's.


Q: What is your favorite color?
A: My favorite color is GREEN !


Q: What are your favorite shoes?
A: I like flip flops in the summer and slippers in the winter.

Q: What is your favorite shopping mall?
A: All of them.

Q: What is your favorite store in Arundel Mills?
A: I like to shop at the Gap.

Q: Do you like buying shoes?
A: Yes!

Q: Why did you decide to become a teacher?
A: Being in a classroom with students always
made me feel like I was at ease
and doing the right thing with my life.

Q: Did you ever want to be something else besides a teacher?
A: I thought I wanted to be a journalist at one time.

Q: What was your first job?
A: I was a clerk at a clothing store in Bath, New York.

Q: What do you like about teaching?
A: I like helping students meet goals and make accomplishments.
I love how excited kids get when those things happen.

Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: I love, and am good at math.

Q: Can you speak Spanish?
A: I can speak a little, I studied Spanish in high school.

Q: Who is your favorite student?
A: All of them are my favorites for different reasons.

Q: What do you like about this class?
A: I like being able to laugh with my students.

Q: Do you like Hilltop a lot?
A: It's a great place to work.
Everybody is so friendly.

Q: When did you get a job here at Hilltop?
A: I was hired in July of 2006.

Q: Do you like orchids?
A: Lilies are my favorite flower.

Q; Can you stand on your head?
A: No, unfortunately, I cannot.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do on Friday?
A: I like to rent movies, go to dinner, and then go to bed early!

Q: What do you do on Saturday?
A: On Saturday I like to go explore new places in Maryland.
There are so many new places for me to go and see!

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I like to go to the movies with my friends,
go shopping, go boating with my friends, cook, and bake!

Q: What is your favorite book?
A: The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing.

Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: My favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy.

Q: What was your favorite TV show when you were little?
A: I used to watch TGIF shows on ABC when I was little.



Q: What is your favorite sports team?
A: I don't watch sports often, but I recently went to my 1st Redskins' game and that was a lot of fun!





Q: Is your favorite sport soccer?
A: No, I used to play basketball when I was in 9th grade.

Q: What is your favorite sport?
A: Hockey is my favorite sport.

Q: Do you like watching football?
A: I like watching on Sundays, eating chicken wings.

Q: What is your favorite football team?
A: I used to go to the Buffalo Bills training camp
every summer, since I am from New York,
but I just went to a Redskins game
and that was a lot of fun!

Q: What is your favorite baseball team?

A: I live in Annapolis, Maryland.

A: I live in a condominium in an apartment complex.

A: I have a blue 2 door Saturn.

Q: How long have you been driving?
A: Since I was 16 years old.

Q: What is your favorite time of the year?
A: Autumn.

Q: Where do you like to go?
A: Any place new. I would love to travel the world!

Q: Have you ever gone to a place that you always wanted to go?
A: When I was in high school I had the chance
to travel to Italy, Spain, and Morocco.
The countryside was absolutely beautiful,
and I would love to go back.



While in Morocco,

Ms. Walczak and her mom

discussed how many miles per gallon

their camel was getting.

(That's gallons of WATER!!!)



Q: What is your favorite animal?
A: Dogs are my favorite,
but the pandas at the National Zoo are really cute!



I think Ms. Walczak thinks the giraffes are funny.
