Mr. Hendricks was gracious enough to stay for two assemblies on April 28, 2000 to accomodate our large student population. First he spoke to Hilltop's intermediate students, and then he gave a talk to our primary students.

Everyone enjoyed listening to his melodic voice which still bares traces of an accent from his native island of St. Thomas. Ellie shared what it was like to grow up in America's Virgin Islands.

He made a lasting impression on our students when he talked about having to mind his mother and about how we must all be responsible for our own actions.
