General Information


School Hours

8:40 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Doors open for students at 8:25 a.m. for arrival. Children should arrive NO LATER than 8:35 a.m. as Opening Exercises begin at that time.

Office Hours

Regular Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Summer Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Attendance

The Children Absent From School (CAFS) program is operated by the Office Staff for the protection of children attending Crofton Woods Elementary. Parents are requested to notify the school office each time a child is absent. The school has an answering machine (410-721-1054) that will accept calls between 3:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. weekdays and on weekends. When a child is absent and a parent has not notified the school office, a phone call will be made to the home. An absentee note will be required for each absence.

Music

As part of the 3rd Grade Curriculum, students will be playing the soprano recorder.
Recorders may be purchased at the school store.

P.E.

Appropriate Tennis Shoes (NO sling backs, roller shoes, flip flops or clogs)
Appropriate dress for movement.
