G/T Elementary School Programs
K-1 Program
Anne Arundel County is one of the few districts in Maryland to have a countywide program for identifying potential in the primary grades. The K-1 Program is a two year program in which classroom and special area teachers observe students during the learning process to discover the demonstration of "gifted behaviors." The program consists of observational lessons in four talent areas: Learning/Academics; Creative/Productive Thinking; Communication; and Visual and Performing Arts.
