  Favorite teacher and why:    Mrs. Beatson was my 1^st and 3^rd grade teacher and made learning fun.

Mrs. Bowers was my 11^th grade English teacher that brought humor to class discussions and supported me in my goals of becoming a teacher.

Family: 

·         Meeting my husband in 1991, we are now residing in Arnold with two children, Lauren Marie and Davis and our dog Tide.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science from Longwood University, Farmville, VA.

•      Masters Degree in Reading from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland
•      I am currently a panelist for the Green Earth Book Award program.  I enjoy sharing these beautiful environmental books with my students.  We evaluate each one and decide which one promotes environmental stewardship.
