Broadneck Bees’

Welcome to Fifth Grade

One of the first experiences to look forward to in fifth grade—other than Back to School Night—is the drownproofing experience.  This  will take place during the middle of November.  Other key events for fifth graders include constructing Scrapbooks during the Heritage unit.  Look forward to the 5th grade play to take place in April or May! As for field trips, we plan to visit Mount Vernon again as we study the history of the American Revolution.

Organization is critical in fifth grade.  Students will have a list of supplies they will need throughout the school year, and all graded papers will be sent home via a teacher home folder to be signed by parents.  Hard work and dedication are the keys to success to getting the top grade at Broadneck.
