Ms. Amy Clarke

This is my fourth year teacher first grade at Arnold Elementary and I feel so lucky to be here!  This year, I am very excited to try to incoporate art, dance, music, and theater into my classroom lessons in order to make them engaging and enriching for the students.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, scrapbooking or crafting and relaxing by the pool or at the beach with a good book!

Ms. Marjorie Smith
Mrs. Smith came to us from Maryland City Elementary and loves the Arnold community!  She has been teaching since 1997 and really enjoys working with first graders.  Mrs. Smith is married with a nine year old daughter named Ellisa, and a seven year old son named Brendan. She also has two energetic boxers named Athena and Sergeant.

Ms. Erin Gatling

Mrs. Gatling's has been teaching in Anne Arundel County Public Schools since 1999.  Before leaving the classroom to serve as a mentor to new teachers, she taught first grade at Belvedere Elem.  She has decided to return to the classroom and is very excited to join the first grade team here at Arnold.  Mrs. Gatling received her degree in Elementary Education from Loyola College in Maryland, and completed a master's degree in Early Childhood Education at Towson University in 2006.  She lives in Arnold with her husband and two children, Logan and Emma.  When she is not at school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
