On March 2, 2007 all of Arnold’s students and staff celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading. Everyone dropped everything to read from 10:10 to 10:30. The school’s goal was to read 3,000 pages to equal the miles across America., but when the pages read were totaled up, Arnold had read an amazing 11,232 pages during the 20 minutes of reading. This sent us across America, the Pacific Ocean, and right on to Delhi, India
     Many students and teachers also decorated a hat to represent their favorite Dr. Seuss book. Dr. Seuss himself would have been proud of Arnold’s celebration because everyone here showed their love of reading.
